A new research initiative involving several disciplines, The Integrated Energy Solution for Entrepreneurs (IESE), will be introduced to the campus at the Engineering Club meeting, 1-2 p.m. on Feb. 23 in Rm. 219.
The new research initiative, sponsored by Dr. Thigpen from the Office of Academic Affairs, aims to develop market-driven, technology-based inventions, and innovations in the area of integrated energy system utilizing energy efficient devices powered by green energy with the capability of two-way communications with visible light and wi-fi to address real world problems. Team leader Dr.Tai-Yin Huang, with Dr. Hal Scholz, Rick Martin, and Bob Wolfe will present the 2015-2016 research agenda. All are invited to attend.
