Presentations at Penn State University Park

Dr. Tai-Yin Huang, professor of Physics, gave a presentation on gravity waves’ effects on airglow entitled "Numerical Simulations of Gravity Waves’ Effects on Airglow Emissions" and was a co-presenter of a poster on her models using different atmospheric reference models entitled "Comparison of gravity wave induced airglow variations using MSIS-90 and NRLMSISE-00 atmospheric density models" with her graduate student at the 2016 SPARC Gravity Wave Symposium. The symposium was hosted by the Meteorology Department of Penn State University from May 16-20, 2016.

Dr. Huang also gave a poster presentation entitled "A Concept Study of Designing an Eco-Smart Energy-Efficient House" with her students on their IESE research projects funded by Penn State Lehigh Valley LaunchBox at the Penn State Energy Days. It was an inaugural conference on all aspects of energy held at Penn State Law School on May 19-20, 2016.

Dr. Tai-Yin Huang was giving a briefing of her IESE projects to Penn State President, Dr. Eric Barron, at Penn State Energy Days.
