Professor of Physics, Tai-Yin Huang,Ph.D., published the paper titled " Simulations of Airglow Variations Induced by the CO2 Increase and Solar Cycle Variation from 1980-1991" in the Journal of Atmospheric and Solar-Terrestrial Physics. The paper can be found here, valid through September 24, 2016
Huang also gave a presentation on the subject at the IAGA/ICMA/SCOSTEP 6th Workshop on Vertical Coupling in the Atmosphere-Ionosphere System in Taipei, Taiwan in July.
Dr. Tai-Yin Huang, professor of physics, gave a presentation on gravity waves-airglow interactions with different reference models with Yolian Amaro-Rivera and Dr. Julio Urbina, and co-presented a poster on airglow emissions modulated by a storm-generated gravity wave with Chien-Chung Chou, Dr. C. L. Kuo, and J. Dai at the 13th annual Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) meeting, Beijing, China, July 31 to Aug. 5, 2016. She also served as a co-convener of AS25 session on electrodynamic coupling.
